The course allows you to take the necessary steps towards becoming a Certified Cost Professional (CCP). The Certified Cost Professional (CCP) designation is one of the most recognized certifications in the cost engineering and costs management domain globally.
Certified Cost Professional (CCP) and Certified Cost Technician (CCT) – differences
The AACE international portfolio of certificates includes a Technician (Certified Cost Technician) and a Professional (Certified Cost Professional) level.
The initial difference between the two is the minimum years of experience and level of education, required to be eligible to take one of both exams.
A significant difference is – apart from the contents of the exam – the technical paper you have to write before you can enroll for the Certified Cost Professional (CCP) exam.
Depending on your experience and qualifications, you could choose to do the Certified Cost Technician (CCT) exam rather than the more advanced Certified Cost Professional (CCP) exam.
