Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP®) 

This professional certification is for individuals with extensive business analysis experience.

This business analysis course is designed to help professionals gain new skills and expertise in advanced documentation, effective planning, and creation of business solutions.

This CBAP exam preparation course aligns with the high standards set by IIBA® and will ensure continued success in the field of business analysis. Professionals with CBAP business analyst certification will be able to stay relevant with rapid changes in any industry and competencies in all aspects of business analysis.

 

You will learn how to

Participants will work through instructor-led discussions on each of the six Knowledge Areas covered by A Guide to the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK® Guide) and will be provided opportunities to answer simulated questions to gain skill and familiarity with applying personal knowledge to answer sample questions.

Participants will review many business analysis techniques and personal skill competencies to understand how best to prepare for questions covering such topics. Each of the five business analysis Perspectives presented in the BABOK® Guide will be reviewed to support students in answering exam questions in these areas.

Important Course Information

Requirements
Minimum 7500 hours of BA work experience aligned with the BABOK Guide in the last 10 years for the CBAP exam and 3,750 CCBA exam. Minimum 900 hours in four of the six knowledge areas. Minimum 21 hours of Professional Development in the past four years. Two references from a career manager, client or CBAP recipient.

Exam

The CBAP® exam is 3.5 hours long and consists of 120 multiple choice questions. The questions are case study-based (i.e. longer cases (1-1.5 pages) of information) with multiple questions about the case.

Exam administrated by Prometric tests center.
