NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety is often the preferred qualification for Health & Safety professionals.
NEBOSH’s National Diploma and International Diploma qualifications are designed for professional health and safety advisors.
These qualifications equip holders for a career in this demanding but rewarding field. Both qualifications are accepted by the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) in meeting the academic requirements for the admission to Chartered Membership.
The NEBOSH National Diploma in Environmental Management is intended for practitioners who have environmental responsibilities. Holders of the Environmental Diploma may use the designatory letters EnvDIPNEBOSH after their name.
Students can choose to take examined units in any order within their enrolment period, allowing flexibility in their studies.
When all units making up the qualification have been successfully passed, the student will receive a Qualification Parchment.
What is NEBOSH?
National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health (NEBOSH) is a UK-based independent examination board delivering vocational qualifications in health, safety & environmental practice and management.
It does not deliver courses. It develops syllabuses for its qualifications and sets methods of assessment, such as examinations and practical coursework. NEBOSH Accredited Course Providers to offer programs.
How to get certified?
The NEBOSH Diploma is considered to be the highest qualification for health and safety practitioners all around the world.
The NEBOSH Diploma builds on the content covered in the NEBOSH General Certificate program and extensively deals with health and safety management, hazardous agents, and work equipment safety.
It provides the special knowledge and basic understanding, in addition to delivering the expertise, needed to undertake a career as a Safety and Health Practitioner.
It is suitable for aspiring health and safety professionals and will help them progress to a higher level in their career in Occupational Health and Safety.
Another highlight of the NEBOSH International Diploma is that candidates who successfully complete the course are eligible to apply for graduate membership of IOSH (GradIOSH). You can also become a chartered safety and health practitioner as a chartered member of IOSH (CMIOSH).
